Froggee is an endless-runner or infinite-distance game that features a frog instead of a running person or stickman. The frog, Froggee, needs a player's help with jumping through snowflakes and open air between rotating swamp worlds covered in water and lily pads.
The player earns points by directing the frog to pass through areas where stars hang suspended between and around the worlds. They earn extra lives by helping the frog eat flies. They also help the frog try to jump as far as possible in meters. If the player does well, they keep going for as long as possible. If they allow the frog to fall into the open air and below the bottom of the game screen, they must restart to try to beat their last best score.
Froggee isn't without obstacles. The player must direct the frog around briars and vines on the sides of the game screen, crocodile that swim around the surfaces of some worlds and other deadly dangers. The side walls are also slippery. Although the player can use them as a jumping point between worlds, they must direct the frog to jump quickly so that it doesn't slide off. Additionally, some of the worlds rotate faster than others or have floating islands that move side to side between them. That said, the frog can jump higher if the player directs it to a bubble that helps it to float.
