Fortune's Deck Solitaire is a card game that features rules from TriPeaks Solitaire. The player attempts to remove all face-down and face-up layered cards from tarot-themed backdrops quickly with as few moves as possible.
The game presents the main cards at the center of the screen, a face-down draw pile in the lower-left area, and a face-up draw card space in the lower-right area. To start a level, the player must select a card on the draw pile to transfer it to the space.
The player then starts to remove the center pattern of cards by selecting a face-up card that has a value equal to one higher or one lower than the value of the drawn card. They continue to make selections until they run out of moves. They then select draw pile cards until they can find one that allows them to continue to remove the center cards.
Fortune's Deck Solitaire helps the player with Hint and Undo buttons along the top of the screen. With Hint, the game makes one card lift up from the pattern briefly several times to reveal itself as a match. With Undo, it allows the player to reverse their last move. The player receives one free try each per level, and then they must view ads to use these tools.
If the player wants to change the styles of the cards, they can use an upper-left Skins button to access 15 unique designs. Unlike similar games, they don't have to pay to change the cards. All options are free.
