Flower Patch Match: Sorting Puzzle is a sorting game with a garden flower theme. In a backyard flower patch between two fences, the player rearranges anthropomorphic flowers around in dirt plots until each area contains one type. They also attempt to earn as many sun points as possible.
As sunlight shines down on the flower patch, groups of mixed types of happy flowers sway in the breeze. Some plots have holes. A gap in the lower fence contains a ceramic pot with a single flower in it. The player can use the pot like a free cell for temporary storage of any flower when they're performing their sorting task.
The garden contains small, medium, large and even extra-large plots of soil. The player must count the number of holes per plot and compare to the number of each type of flower. They then rearrange the flowers into the correct holes. For example, they must transfer a pair of matching flowers to a plot that has only two holes.
Flower Patch Match makes a completed plot of flowers glow green. The matching ones then open their eyes and express hearts for love. The game releases sun balls into the flower patch. The player must quickly select each one to earn the most points. If they're not fast enough, the remaining sun balls fade away.
