The elemental cuties are back exploring hidden wonders! Fireboy & Watergirl in Fairy Tales (Fireboy & Watergirl 6), the next challenging installment of the fun, maze-platformer series, brings Fireboy and Watergirl to new ancient ruins where they discover colorful fairies! Unlike the previous installments, a player or players can utilize these magical creatures to help the friends through each room of a butterfly-shaped labyrinth.
The player or players must position the characters to collect gemstones and complete solutions to logic puzzles. As with previous installments, the characters can't touch pools of incompatible elements or green goo. They must navigate a lot of complicated systems, such as focused-light mirrors and sensors, platforms on chains and pulleys, balls and blocks on paths and dark rooms.
They must also position them to release fairies from enclosed areas and position the fairies to handle certain tasks, such as push color-matched levers and buttons that control the movements of walls and platforms and turn on crystal portals or fans with updrafts. Many of the fairies can only help complete tasks that match their color. White fairies can help complete any task.
