Find the Difference - Forever is an endless spot-the-difference game. Every level features two near-identical high-quality photographs. The player must find 10 differences between the images. If they want a challenge, they can use the gear icon to turn on a timer.
During play, the player can zoom in and out with plus (+) and minus (-) magnifier tools. They can skip difficult levels by using a forward curved arrow. They can also use crosshairs to find five differences. That said, they must view ads or wait ten or more minutes for additional access to these tools.
Find the Difference - Forever doesn't keep the differences highlighted after selection. The player can turn off this option using the gear icon. Otherwise, when they select a difference, the game highlights it briefly with orange crosshairs and then updates both images with the correct data. Blue dashed circles above the pictures that indicate not-yet-found objects also turn into checkmarks for every found difference.
On the home screen, the player can monitor their achievements by using the bar chart icon. They can track their numbers for spotted, finished, postponed and skipped games. They can also monitor their time, the total number of differences they found across all levels, the time per difference, the number of hints they used, and the mistakes they made across all levels. They can also review their percentage of accuracy.
