Find Pair is a home-and-school-themed, card-matching game that teaches a player how to recognize similar objects. Although playable by anyone, it can serve as a fun tool to help children learn about new objects or provide recall reinforcement for adults who have memory problems. The game features a two-tone pink, striped background with a central play field. A scoreboard at the top of the field displays the score per game, the all-time score across levels and a timer. Below the board on the play field, the game displays scattered and stacked, circular-shaped cards that feature different object images. To win Find Pair, the player must match cards in pairs until they clear away all the cards. Find Pair becomes harder with each new level. The number of cards increases while the amount of time left on the timer decreases. If the player fails to match all cards before time runs out, the game bumps them all the way back to Level 1 where they must start over.
How to play:
Look for similar objects on the circular cards, such as pairs of cupcakes, salmon steaks, chocolate bars and other types of food or pencils, books and other types of school supplies. Match two cards to clear a pair. Repeat this process until all the cards disappear from the play field.
Controls:
Mouse: To enlarge a card and receive a clearer view of the object displayed on it, click the card. Search for its match on the play field, and then click the second card to make both cards disappear. If a card is slightly visible at the bottom of a stack, click it for a match instead of removing the upper cards first.
Mobile: Tap any card to enlarge it. Tap the matching card to remove both cards from the field.
