Find Me: Lost Objects is a hidden-object romantic adventure game. An octopus named Octopo can't find his beloved and ask the player to help him find objects to open up new areas of the ocean and collect seven special clues.
The player meets Octopo in one section and then explores 10 other underwater spots. In each scene, they follow a story through pop-up bubble conversations with Octopo and other characters. They also search for objects that blend into the background, such as marine animals, ship anchors, bottles, treasure maps, plants and seashells.
Find Me: Lost Objects is a different from other hidden-object games. Each scene is dynamically distracting rather than static. In some areas, for example, the player must wait for a large crab or a school of fish to move out of the way before they can search for and collect an object.
Additionally, after the player completes part of the story, the game resets a scene. It adds the remaining hidden objects to areas the player checked before. It also uses more than one type of the same object to create distractions, such as two different types of anchors or slightly different colored fish.
If the player becomes stuck, they can receive hints by using a magnifying glass icon in the upper-right area. To view more hints, they merely need to view ads.
