Fierce Shot is a soccer game that places a player in the penalty kicker or striker position. To qualify to reach the final round of the Continental Cup or the International Cup, the player must score a high number of goals per round.
The game features a Training mode and a Career mode. The player hones their onscreen kicking skills in Training mode. Once they're ready to compete, they enter the Career mode and join the team for a specific country. They then play soccer in rounds of matches that focus only on penalty kicking against a goalie or a goalie and defenders. The player draws a white target line from the ball to the net to make the ball automatically follow a specific path.
The goalie can block a ball. Defenders go one step further at times. If the player doesn't kick the ball fast enough before a countdown timer represented by yellow numbers reaches zero, they run toward the player's position as an attack.
Fierce Shot rewards the player with cash and special skills when they win a round and qualify for the next one. Special skills include a power shot and a second-ball illusion. They can also use the cash to perform profile, rank and other upgrades, such as upgrading the accuracy or curve of the ball or the power behind it.
