Ferris Wheel is a timed match-3, bubble-popping game set in an amusement park. In 10 levels, the player shoots projectiles from a cannon at a mix of candy bubbles. The candies rotate like a wheel on a gray central post in front of a smoke gray transparent pane. Level by level, the player must remove every candy to unlock the next level and earn a high score.
The player uses the projectiles to build groups of three or more matching candies. With a successful hit, the candies pop like bubbles and also pop any non-matching nearby attached ones.
Every projectile impact makes the wheel turn clockwise or counterclockwise. This movement often forces the player to use projectiles to move the wheel instead of make groups. The game penalizes them if they don't build a group three times. They can track their misses by reviewing the status of three gold dots regularly on the right side of the screen under a striped white and gold awning.
When no more dots remain in this area, the game attaches new candy bubbles to the wheel. Since the player must use more time to pop these candies, they also need to track their remaining time in the same area.
