Farmyard Bubble Blast is a bubble-popping game. The player uses a cannon shooter, a dynamic dotted aiming line, and color-matched projectiles to complete bubble collection tasks. Their main objectives are to meet their task goals, unlock new levels, and explore diverse farms and landscapes.
Each level features classic hanging rows of mixed-color bubbles. The player doesn't normally need to remove all bubbles. Instead, they win a level after they collect enough of specific types by making clusters of three or more color-matched ones.
If the player fails too many times, the game penalizes them by adding rows to the field. This action forces all of the rows to slide down the screen slightly. Repeated failures generate too many rows that slide below a horizontal warning line constructed of green leaves.
Farmyard Bubble Blast does not feature any other classic elements, such as currency, score or star goals. That said, the player can create personal challenges. For example, they might attempt to remove all bubbles from the field before fulfilling the task obligations displayed in the top-center area. The game also makes this goal a requirement on some levels and hides part of a hanging pattern above the play area until the player pops enough lower bubbles.
