Farm Triple Match is a tile-matching game. The player helps a friendly pig named Button upgrade a farm that starts out with only an old farm house, green lawns, overgrown fields and dirt paths. To pay for the upgrades, they must earn sun points by matching round-cornered white tiles. They also earn coins and collect rewards.
The game presents the tiles in patterned layers across levels. The stacked tiles feature farm-themed icons, such as bees, four-leafed clovers, flowers, fruit, leaves, vegetables and wild animals. Below a pattern, the game provides seven empty slots in a panel. The player earns sun points after they clear away all tiles. They can move any tile to a slot, but the game won't remove the tiles from the panel until the player matches three identical ones.
Farm Triple Match only permits matches of highlighted, uncovered tiles. If the player fills all slots without making a match, they receive access to the Undo and Shuffle buttons in the upper-right area to help them fix their mistake. If they lose access to these options, they can pay for more with coins or restart the level.
When the player earns enough sun points, they complete a pre-scheduled task on the farm screen, such as installing a mailbox or building a dog house. In some cases, they use the sun points to buy things, such as a dog. The game also sometimes gives them more than one option, such as three dog breeds.
The player receives daily rewards in picnic baskets that contain coins. If they're willing to view ads, they can add an extra slot to the panel during gameplay or earn additional access to undo and shuffle help.
