Epic Blast, a puzzle game with a Zeus and Greek god theme, presents a player with hours of increasingly difficult match-3 challenges. The player must complete many levels, represented initially as locked, frozen temples on a tall mountain, to reach the home of the gods (Mount Olympus). With every win, they open and light up the temples with god-given fire.
At each level, the player must complete tasks that involve removing a certain number of the same type of object from a board that displays various patterns of tiles with different objects on them, including temples, helmets, chalices, gold coins, lyres and oil jugs. They must match three or more of the same type in a connected line on a row or column by swapping two objects.
Epic Blast describes two aspects of the game: The player can use boosters, represented by thunderbolts, to remove an entire row or column or all of the same type of object. The game also features an Epic Mode. When the player completes every task, they're prompted to continue removing objects until they run out of moves to earn extra points toward their score and complete more than 100% of the level.
