Emoji Object Search is a hidden object puzzle game that features anthropomorphic animals, plants and other common and not-so-common emojis. The player's goal is to find specific emojis in each pile of objects.
The game presents traditional yellow smileys and everyday emojis in levels known as rounds. That said, it doesn't offer consecutive rounds. The player must locate the emojis in the Find These Objects area. Once they complete this task, their total score updates in the upper-right corner and their round score returns to zero. Their goal is to then beat their total previous score.
Emoji Object Search piles together objects that have similar shapes, sizes and colors against a gradient dark blue background. Although it positions objects upside down, sideways and partially behind one or more other objects, the player can usually find the emojis they need on the topmost layer in plain sight.
Of course, the game also presents objects that are slightly different from the target goals to make the search a tiny bit more difficult. For example, a yellow smiley face at the center of a daisy might have white teeth in its smile or no teeth at all. Another object might have a slightly different shade of one or more colors than the target.
If the player becomes stuck, they can use the upper-left corner reload button marked with two semicircular white arrows to load a different round, targets and pile of objects.
