Emoji Flow is a connect-style puzzle game that tests a player's logic skills across 270 levels. A player must connect pairs of matching smiley-type emoji on grids of varying sizes. The emoji pairs include pink sleeping emoji, yellow emoji wearing sunglasses, grimacing blue emoji with icicles, laughing orange emoji, purple demon emoji with black horns and green emoji with orange stars for eyes.
The player is initially presented with the challenge of solving 30 puzzles on 5x5 grids. The game increases the number of grid cells and emoji in play via 6x6, 7x7, 8x8 and 9x9 categories that each have 30 levels. That said, the player doesn't have to play small boards to unlock larger ones. They can pick any puzzle in any category on the home screen to start the game.
Emoji Flow seems simple at first. The player draws a colored line between each matching pair on the grid. Yet, they're not allowed to cross lines from different pairs, which means that they must adjust each line path to provide enough room to form all the other lines. When they've successfully connected every pair, the game shoots confetti into the air.
How to play:
Pick any of the 270 puzzles on the home screen. Review the emoji positions on the grid. Imagine lines between matching pairs. Draw the lines. If necessary, retrieve a hint using the button marked with a light bulb or restart the level with the button marked with double arrows.
Controls:
Mouse: To draw lines between two matching emoji, position the cursor above one, press the left button, wait for a large circle to appear, slide the mouse to move the circle along the empty grid cells leading to the matching emoji, and then release the button.
Mobile: To connect matching emoji, position the cursor, press the trackpad or touchscreen, wait for a large circle to appear, slide the finger or stylus through empty cells to the matching emoji, and stop pressing the surface.
