Emily's Hotel Solitaire is a single-player card game with rules similar to TriPeaks Solitaire. A woman named Emily wants to fulfill her grandfather's dream of building the best hotel in the most beautiful place. After choosing a remote tropical location for the resort, Emily needs the player's help with construction, landscaping, decorating and so much more!
The player completes projects with golden stars. They earn stars and cash that helps them earn stars faster by removing all cards from each level's playfield through TriPeaks high-low, next-card rules. They can only remove a card if it's face up and the next highest or lowest card in standard ascending and descending sequence (i.e., A, 2, 3, 4... 10, J, Q, K, and K, Q, J, 19... 4, 3, 2, A) or wraparound sequence to the beginning or end (i.e., K, A, 2... and A, K, Q...) based on the face-up card to the right of the draw deck cards. If they can't remove a card, they draw from the deck cards until they find a match.
Emily's Hotel Solitaire rewards the player with coins for each extra card left over at the end of a level, winning a level, and completed location projects. The player uses coins to buy five additional draw deck cards, if they run out, extra Jokers and access to the undo move tool. They exchange stars to build the hotel, add bushes and trees, place benches and pergolas, install flower planters and perform other tasks.
Jokers are wild. The player uses Jokers to represent any card. If they perform streaks of perfect matches without becoming stuck, they receive extra Jokers and deck cards. The game also offers boosters, such as magnets that pull cards from the field and rockets that knock cards off it.
