Ellie: Get Ready With Me is a dress-up game. A vlogger named Ellie decides to teach the player how she makes herself look fabulous within minutes of waking up. The player uses the general tips to refresh Ellie's face, apply makeup, style her hair and prepare an outfit for the day.
Ellie starts by showing the player how to moisturize and dry her skin. She then directs the player to highlight her features with makeup, such as flesh-tone cream foundation, blonde-tan eyebrow pencil, smokey eye shadow, black mascara and eyelash extender, light pink blush and glossy dark pink lipstick.
Once the player makes Ellie's face look perfect, she prompts the player to tame her long, messy hair with a straightening iron and select an outfit and accessory items. The player selects a long hairstyle from five available options and then a top, bottom or dress, necklace, earrings, sunglasses or hat.
Ellie: Get Ready With Me doesn't offer a camera. Instead, the game ends with Ellie standing outside in the foreground of a pleasant scene that depicts a restaurant in a city or town. The player can only save a copy of their selections for a fashion inspiration book or social sharing by using the screenshot or snip tools on their computer or smartphone.
