Egypt Mahjong Triple Dimensions is a timed, three-dimensional block-matching game that features match-3 mechanics. The player must remove stone blocks stacked on tiers and circular platforms before they run out of time. They receive bonus points if they beat the clock.
The stone blocks feature common symbols found in ancient Egyptian art and texts, including ankhs, crocodiles, gods and other hieroglyphics. The player can only select and remove matching stones in sets of three at a time. To find matches, they can use left and right arrow buttons to rotate a stack.
The stones must have two adjacent sides unblocked by other stones. After selections, a set disappears from the stack and frees up the side of the remaining stone blocks.
Egypt Mahjong Triple Dimensions allows the player to track the time in the upper-right corner. They track their score in the upper-center area.�
The game supplies a hint tool in the form of a question mark button in the lower-right area. It highlights stone blocks in a set of matching ones with pink. That said, when the player uses this tool, they lose points. If they use it too often, they can receive a negative score as a more severe penalty.
