Dropping Balls: Distribution is an endless click-tap ball game with a color-based sorting element. Against a dark background, it displays a vertical chute that branches into two containers separated by a flip-style door. The player's goals are to distribute colored balls into the correct containers and earn the highest possible score.
The player can only perform this task accurately by rapidly opening and closing the door through click-tap actions. The game displays the correct direction specific balls must drop based on color via a color-matched dotted line during the introduction of each new color.
The game also places ball examples on the same side of the chute as each correct container. For example, it might display a red ball to the left of the chute to prompt the player to drop red balls into the left container. It might display a gray ball and a yellow ball to the right of the chute for drops into the right container.
Dropping Balls: Distribution ends the game if the player fails to drop a colored ball accurately. The player must then watch an ad to continue or start over. During play, their score appears at the top of the chute next to a gold crown. If they fail, their all-time score displays on the main screen underneath a larger version of the same crown.
