Drift Parking is a parking game that focuses on the art of drift driving on streets. A player must park a car successfully on the side of a street by using drifting to slide it into place while traveling at a high speed. They must perform this task a certain number of times per level.
The player receives a car that the game auto-generates as a copy every time they park correctly, which means that another speeding car appears on the street almost immediately after they park the first one. They can unlock additional models over time. That said, they can perform a free paint job with color squares at the bottom right corner of the home screen.
Drift Parking doesn't hesitate to penalize the player for crashes or poor parking jobs. In these scenarios, the game notes that the player failed the mission and ends the level. With a crash, the player's car actually crumples. A poor parking job might involve a failture to park as straight as possible or drifting too far into a space.
The game places a variety of obstacles in the car's path, which means that the player must partially drift around any problem spots, such as oil slicks, orange-and-white-striped barriers and police cruisers. It also uses lighting conditions and stone walls to make parking more difficult.
