Dreamland Solitaire is a card game that features TriPeaks Solitaire rules. In a fantasy world, the player is tasked with building structures in forest, ocean, desert and city locations. They must clear all cards across levels to reveal special currency that help them win and build faster.
The game offers Casual, Time-Limited and Easy difficulty modes. With Casual, the player follows standard TriPeaks rules. With Time-Limited, they must complete each turn in a specific time frame. With Easy, they receive two decks, which gives them more draw cards.
Each level displays layered face-down and face-up cards, a draw pile and a face-up starting card. The game hides golden coins and purple potions behind some cards. The player also receives extra coins after completing specific achievements.
TriPeaks rules require the player to remove cards by selecting the next high-low card in a standard deck sequence. For example, if the face-up starting card is a King (K), the player needs to find a face-up field Queen (Q) or Ace (A) card from any suit. If no match exists, they must draw from the pile until one of the draw cards fulfills the rules.
Dreamland Solitaire helps the player by allowing them to buy bonus tools known as "bonuses" with their coins. Top-level passive bonuses provide specific forms of help, such as extra starting cards and Joker and Wild cards. Bottom-level, suit-based bonuses act more like classic boosters and include explosive fireballs, magic shuffles and chain lightning strikes. When the player collects cards from one suit, a suit bonus booster to the left of the draw pile charges with power.
