Dragon Simulator 3D is a fantasy-world-simulation game that asks a player to imagine a realistic life as a dragon. The player completes missions and quests to help the dragon explore, protect and fight against attacks from human and non-human enemies, experience personal growth, produce and raise offspring and develop a clan.
The dragon's unique color and physical appearance, fire and magic vary based on four elements (fire, ice, nature and air). After the player selects a name, gender and element, they're taken to a landscape screen that features status bars (red health and blue energy) at the top left corner next to an icon that leads to an information screen with several tabs (Map, Family, Character, Upgrades and Achievements).
Dragon Simulation 3D offers the player opportunities to receive coins to pay for upgrades and other changes. They earn coins by completing certain tasks and successfully completing missions. They open a free treasure chest every couple of hours. They also earn more coins via a multiplier bonus by watching advertisements.
