Dominoes is a casual version of classic Draw and Block tile-matching dominoes games. The player's goal is to beat their opponent across rounds by discarding domino tiles until they earn 100 points first.
Each tile features dots or blank spaces across one or two squares. In Draw and Block games, the player attempts to discard all their tiles. The game highlights usable tiles and slightly grays out unusable ones. The player drags an available tile to the table. The game aligns the tile end-to-end with a matching piece. If both squares match, it side-aligns the tile.
With a Draw game, the player discards matching tiles, or bones, until they have no more moves. The game then prompts them to draw from a pile, or boneyard, that features face-down tiles until they find one that matches. If they can't find one, they pass to their opponent. A Block game is similar but without the boneyard. Instead, the player receives seven tiles. They must attempt to block their opponent strategically and discard all their tiles first.
Dominoes rewards the player round after round with points. Each time the player wins, they receive a pop-up that displays their total and any bonus points. That said, they don't always acquire a bonus. Bonuses depend primarily on the total value of the dots on the tiles remaining in their opponent's hand.
