Dominoes Game features five simulated versions of classic Muggins, Draw, Block, Sebastopol and Bergen tile-based dominoes games. It offers the player two-, three-, and four-player options and customization based on points or rounds and 100, 200 or 400 points.
Whoever has the most dots in their hand goes first. After the first move, a player typically aligns one of their tiles end-to-end with another tile that has the same number of dots in the square nearest to the open end. When aligning a double tile that has the same number of dots in both squares, they place the tile's side against the matching end. The game guides the player's actions by highlighting usable tiles and prompting them to perform in specific ways.
The rules of a game depend both on the version and on the player's custom selections. For example, draw games have a stone draw pile. The player wins a match if they place all of the tiles in their hand or all the players run out of moves. Unlike other domino games, they can pass on their turn if the stone pile has no more tiles. They then win gold stars based on points or rounds and a specific number of overall points.
Dominoes Game offers several helpful and informative tools on the main screen. The player can win prizes via the Spin Wheel in the lower-right corner. They can review the number of played and won games, the number of wins in a row, the win ratio, and their average and total times via the Statistics button. Rankings show their weekly, monthly and overall leaderboard positions. Themes allow them to use their star winnings to change the backgrounds and stones to one of six options. With Settings, they can turn off the sound effects and music.
