Domino Solitaire is a tile-based game that presents the domino tiles in layered positions similar to many Solitaire card games. Across 90 levels, the player must remove the tiles by following some of the rules for both types.
The player can only select a domino tile from a pattern when the color and number of dots in at least one of the two squares match the tile in position to the right of a draw pile along the lower part of the screen. In dominoes, the dots can match the end of a tile or either square of a tile that has two identical sets. Eventually, the game uses non-domino themed icons such as red apples.
If the player can't find a match, they must draw a tile from the pile. When they perform consecutive matches, they receive coins from a gift box. They can monitor their streak count in the upper-right corner. They also receive money when they clear away all field tiles and still have remaining draw pile tiles.
Domino Solitaire also offers a popular Solitaire card game tool. The player receives access to three Wild tiles. When they run out of these tiles, they can buy more from the game's shop with their coins. They can also buy more draw pile or "stock" tiles.
This game offers not only domino and card-style play. It provides peaceful background scenes that create a relaxing experience. The pictures include a vintage orange and white minivan parked near a pond during a vacation and a stream in a village on a warm, sunny day.
