Help Charlie find more toys!
Dog Puzzle Story 2 is a match-3, tile-puzzle game that asks a player to help an adorable puppy named Charlie from the first game collect additional toys and other items along the street leading through his hometown. The player faces a checkerboard of tiles that they must manipulate to collect certain types and numbers of toys, including balls, bones, collar tags, pawprints and pet pillows, per each level of the game.
As with the previous and similar titles, the player must remove three or more tiles that feature matching pictures from horizontal and vertical rows. They're also given special tools, boosters, that help them collect the toys faster. For example, if they connect four tiles, they receive a Line Blast booster that takes out an entire row. If they connect a horizontal row and a vertical row with one move at the same time, they receive a Cross Blast. They can also connect and combine boosters to remove even more tiles. If they connect five tiles, they can make a Ball Bomb that removes all tiles marked with the same toy picture from the board. If they combine two Ball Bombs, they clear every tile from the board!
When they're not playing in a level, the player can access a town map that displays completed and available levels as empty dog bowls on the street. On this map, they can also discover free and hidden items that can help them during gameplay, including gifts, treasure chests and other unlockables.
