Dino Egg Shooter is a bubble-popping game with a baby animal rescue theme. Across 100 prehistoric levels, the player saves baby dinos by popping bubble eggs at the top of a playfield. They also attempt to earn three stars per level and a high score.
This bubble shooter features toss gameplay in which the player uses a dino as the shooter. The character tosses the bubble eggs in a targeted direction. The player receives two dino egg projectiles at a time (i.e., one in the shooter dino's claws and one above a claw in the lower-right area). They can swap the eggs by selecting a circle between the two projectiles that's marked with the number of remaining moves and features double arrows rotating around it. They also receive a color-matched, dotted dynamic aiming line.
The player pops eggs by creating clusters of three or more identical ones. The game puts obstacles in their way, such as unpoppable stones intermingled with the eggs and encased eggs that require two hits to pop. That said, it also gives them tools that make completing tasks easier, such as double, flashing arrows that remove a horizontal row.
Dino Egg Shooter doesn't require that the player remove all bubble eggs from the field. The player merely needs to save all the babies. They can perform this task faster by using the sidewalls to bounce egg projectiles to higher areas of the field. When they shoot a higher cluster, all non-matching eggs attached only to it drop into the air and then pop.
