Diamant Sky Stories Match 3, also known as Diamond Stories Match 3, is a match-3 puzzle and crafting game. The player helps the main character explore a floating landmass and build their own city by performing match-3 maneuvers, material harvesting and processing, and other crafting and world-building actions.
During match-3 games, the player completes crystal and item collection goals displayed in a Shoot area on the left side of the screen. They must swap two adjacent crystals on a board to create lines of three or more matching ones or by use special items and boosters. On some levels, they complete other tasks, such as breaking glass shards beneath crystals.
When the player makes a line of four or five crystals, they create special items. For example, four items create a charged crystal that can clear a column or row of crystals with power when used to create a match set. With five, they create a special item known as a breathing stone that removes all of one type of crystal from the field.
Diamant Sky Stories Match 3 rewards the player with points, tools, raw materials, coins and artifacts at the end of levels, as daily bonuses and achievements, and in other ways. With these items, the player can expand the size of the landmass and build custom structures.
