Diamond Dungeon: Match 3 is a matching game that features stunning blue, green, orange, purple and red cut jewels. A player's goal is to complete tasks and win coins. The game features more than 500 fun-filled match-3 levels!
The player can only match jewels by aligning three of the same type in a row or column with a single move. Many tasks require the player to collect a specific type of jewel or other objects, such as ice tiles or hidden treasures. The player completes a level by removing enough gems or objects using whatever means are available. They might perform matches, create power gems or use boosters.
Diamond Dungeon: Match 3 permits the player to create power gems by matching four or more of the same gems. For example, they can create a lightning gem by matching four gems of the same color and a rainbow gem by matching five gems.
A lightning gem takes out a row or column. A rainbow gem removes all of the same kind from the board with one move. The player can also use boosters, including a hammer that destroys a single gem, a compass that swaps two gems anywhere on the board, a bomb that takes out a small area, and a rocket that takes out a column.
The game offers some unique play as well. In similar match-3 games, the player can only break ice tiles by performing matches next to them. In this game, the player matches gems under the tiles.
