Daily Jewels Blitz Mahjong is a casual, timed tile-matching game that features layered Chinese Mahjong tiles marked with jewel- and jewelry-related images in different patterns. The player's daily goal is to clear away all tiles by pairing matching images. Their weekly goal is to return to the game each day to maintain a streak.
The game starts by providing the player with a daily booster reward. On a panel on the right side of the play screen, it offers four buttons in the lower-right area above the pause, music and sound buttons. The player can use a hint light bulb, shuffle double arrows, an undo arrow, and a free tile reveal flashlight. They can only select and remove free tiles that have at least one open side. The upper part of the panel displays the date, the timer and the score. The timer starts to count down after the player selects a tile.
Daily Jewel Blitz Mahjong isn't a complicated game. The player receives tiles marked with small, medium and large gemstones; metal-edged jewel teardrop pendants; and jewels arranged into shapes. Common jewelry items include butterflies, flowers, green leaves, initials, moons and stars. The player merely needs to select matching ones.
That said, the game doesn't make it easy for the player to reveal blocked tiles before they run out of moves. The player must use various strategies. For example, they might save two matching free tiles on the lowest layer to help them remove upper-layer ones and reveal other lower-layer matches.
