Curve Fever is a battle-arena game that features elements similar to space-arcade and snake-and-worm games. The player chooses a name and receives a ship. Their goal is to reach a certain number of points before anyone else in the arena.
The player accomplishes this task by creating a colorful streak behind their ship to cut off their opponents. They can also fire on the other ships after they receive new powers. For example, they might shoot a fireball that steals points from others.
If the player hits another ship, the streak of another ship, their own streak or the sidewalls of the arena, their ship explodes. They can join a free-for-all quickplay match, a standard match or create their own match. There are also events, including a championship world cup in which they and their friends can enter together as a team. During a match, they can also earn rewards for achievements, such as outliving and cutting off a certain number of opponents or taking a certain number of hits.
Curve Fever allows the player to level up their experience. It also allows them to customize their ship with skins and powers using gemstones. They can pick up a battle pass or VIP benefits. If they share the game with others, they earn free gems. When they perform well, they receive crates.
