Cube to Hole Puzzle is a sorting number puzzle game that contains elements of brick-breaking, hardware-sorting, and unblock games. Across levels, the player sorts a mix of colored tiny cubes on a board into color-matched holes to fill and remove other matching numbered holes from the playfield. They also attempt to earn coins.
The game displays the numbered holes in vertical rows near the top of the field above several numbered free cell trays. It displays the board that features a grid base, the non-numbered colored holes and colored mini cubes near the center of the field.
Each upper hole displays a number that divides by two. Each tray displays the number of mini cubes it can store at any given time. The trays act like temporary storage for unneeded cubes. That said, once the player starts the transfer process, a tray can only hold color-matched cubes until the game empties it. If they fill all the storage trays, they must restart the level.
The player transfers mini cubes to either the trays or numbered holes by selecting a board hole adjacent to or across an unblocked gap from color-matched cubes. To access cubes, they must often unblock paths on the grid. Any time a numbered hole fills up, the displayed number decreases until it reaches zero and the hole disappears from the field.
Color to Hole Puzzle helps the player with special blocks, boosters and tools that unlock over time. For example, the first booster replaces a selected board hole with a gravity one that accepts all adjacent mixed-color blocks. The second booster magnetically collects and transfers a cluster of selected color-matched cubes from any position on the board.
