Cube Crash is a tile-matching puzzle game similar to the Halloween Monster Puzzle, Sea Diamonds Challenge and Tiles of the Simpsons games. The player attempts to complete 12 levels with the highest score possible by selecting a set of three or more adjacent, color-matched cubes on a grid.
The game displays blue, green, orange and purple cubes stacked within a frame on the playfield. When the player rolls their cursor over a set of matching adjacent cubes, the set lights up, and the game displays the potential score for removing that set. When they select the set, the cubes fall off the field and screen. If they remove a column, the remaining columns shift to the left or right, which creates new sets of cubes. Although the game doesn't require the player to remove every cube, and doing so is uncommon, they can clear the entire field with a bit of luck and strategic play.
Cube Crash updates the player's score on the right light-blue sidebar while they play. If the player performs better than the goal, they receive bonus points. The player can also review the current level number and the goal for the level.
When the player completes the game, they can submit their score to rank high on a leaderboard that represents players from around the world. They can log their daily, weekly and monthly scores. They can also review their all-time and overall scores.
