Crush the Eggs is a drawing logic-puzzle game. It features unhappy anthropomorphic eggs that the player must crush with items they create with drawings on white graph paper.
The game presents the unhappy eggs in outdoor environments atop brick walls and other surfaces or connected to pins. Above this area, it displays a graph paper box. The player draws an object that can crush one or more eggs at a time on the paper. The object appears as a wire form made of green dots that falls and hits the eggs. For example, the player might draw a square to drop on a single egg, a horizontal rectangle to drop on two eggs, or a vertical rectangle to drop on pinned eggs resting between two brick walls.
Crush the Eggs makes the crushing task more complicated over time. For example, the game might place an egg on a swinging pendulum or force the player to draw a ramp and select a wheel to drop and roll into the egg. The player must imagine the best form for completing the task. If they have difficulty, the game provides them with a level reload button in the upper-right corner. They can also use a button marked with a sun icon to receive a black line hint from an anthropomorphic pencil on the graph paper.
The player loses a level if they fail to crush every egg. The levels also have a hidden timer. If the player takes too long, a crying emoji appears on the screen. Thankfully, they can restart the level without a penalty.
