Cooking Restaurant Kitchen is a career simulation and renovation game. The main character works at a run-down bistro and needs the player's help to remodel it and several other structures and locations, including the nearby beach, a forest, a library, a pool and themed social venues.
The player can only perform upgrades when they earn stars that serve as currency by satisfying customers via accurate, quick food prep and serving actions. The main restaurant offers burgers, fountain sodas, plated waffles, swirl candies, chocolate cherry croissants, and other desserts. Over time, the player unlocks additional restaurant areas, including a juice and dessert bar.
No matter the restaurant section, the player performs similar tasks. They direct customers to seating, collect orders, and serve drinks, meals and snacks. For some requests, they cook or cut raw ingredients and add fixings or plate everything using special dishes. In many cases, they merely pick up and serve an item that's already prepared, such as a jelly roll, a large lollipop or cherry shortbread slices.
Cooking Restaurant Kitchen requires the player to complete level tasks as well, as indicated by a task area in the upper-left corner. For example, they might need to earn a preset amount of coin money, serve a specific number of customers, or beat a timer.
The coins allow the player to make service-related upgrades. For example, they can speed up the cooking time, improve their carry capacity, and double the beverage machines. They can earn extra coins by watching advertisements.
On the home screen, the player uses their stars to complete the renovations as individual project tasks. With the bistro, for example, they must fix different things, remove trash from the property, install new plants and tables, and rebuild a water fountain.
