Cook & Match: Sara's Adventure (Cooking Class) combines popular elements from cooking, match-3 and story games. The player's primary goal is to help the protagonist, Sara, organize and cook for dinner parties.
The player initially assists by earning points from match-3 games that feature meal ingredients. They must collect a certain number of ingredients by matching three or more of the same ingredients (i.e. steaks, green peppers, fish or onions) before they run out of moves. They then use earned points to complete items on a To Do list that Sara has coordinated with her friend, such as cleaning the dining room, arranging chairs and talking to her friend about the menu.
The player receives access to special boosters to make collection faster. For example, if they match four ingredients, they receive a Knife Booster that takes out an entire row. If they match four in a square shape across two rows, they create a Mixer Booster that removes four additional ingredients in a cross shape. Other boosters allow them to remove a huge block of ingredients and specific chosen ingredients anywhere on the board. They can even combine boosters to make more powerful ones.
How to play:
Look for two or more of the same ingredients near a third matching one. Swap the third one with a non-matching one. Speed up the collection process with special boosters.
Controls:
Mouse: To collect ingredients, position the cursor above the third ingredient, press and hold down the left button, and then drag toward the non-matching one. To perform an automatic swap, click the matching ingredient, and then click the non-matching one. To complete To Do tasks, click associated onscreen buttons.
Mobile: To collect ingredients, touch the third ingredient and drag toward the non-matching one to perform a swap. For an automatic swap, tap one ingredient, and then the other one. To complete tasks, tap onscreen buttons.
