Connect the Wires is a casual logic-puzzle game similar to Link Puzzle that offers engineering-style spatial orientation challenges and obstacles. Against a dark gray background and grid made of squares, the player adjusts the directions of pieces of wire to create circuits between pairs of yellow electricity bolt squares and white and gray circles.
When the player completes this task correctly, the completed circuit turns yellow. That said, the game doesn't make completion of a circuit easy. With each new level, it forces the player to imagine new, extremely complicated adjustments.
The wire line sections in Connect the Wires are shaped like bars and feature round knobs at the end of each line, similar to real-world circuit connection points. The player selects a grid square repeatedly to reposition each one. They don't need to create a circuit with every bar. Instead, their goal is to complete the circuit in the fastest possible way.
If the player hits a wall with how they imagine the wires should connect, they can use the Regeneration circle icon made of double semicircular arrows in the top-center position to shuffle the wire line sections or even complete the level.
