Connect Number 2048 is a connect-style, block-matching game loosely based on 2048. In classic 2048, the player merges blocks. In this game, they pair matching colored, numbered blocks on a two-tone blue checkerboard to earn stars and advance against other players through levels.�
The blocks don't drop down onto the board. Instead, rapid-moving clocks below each column generate new blocks that slide up onto the board. The player must move quickly to prevent the columns from stacking too high.
The only merge play comes from a magnet booster that merges two or more blocks to create higher-numbered ones. The other boosters below the board perform different tasks. Bombs, rockets, spaceships and hammers remove blocks. A double arrows booster resets all the clocks.
Connect Number 2048 rewards the player with coins. They can increase their winnings with a rainbow multiplier bar and advertising video views. They can also win coins on the home screen with a daily random prize, gift or lucky spin wheel. After the first free access, they must usually view a video.
The player then uses their coins to perform block upgrades. They receive two free skins. They need at least 100 coins to perform additional ones. They also use coins to enjoy a slot machine on the home screen that rewards coins and boosters.
