Color Water Sort 3D is a three-dimensional version of popular classic sorting games that require a player to sort bands of different colors of water into separate laboratory test tubes and other containers. In this version, the player must also play fast enough to earn three gold stars.
Across levels, the player transfers the colored bands of water. When they fill a test tube with one color, the game corks it with a stopper and shoots bursts of confetti onto the screen. When they complete a level, they receive stars and gold coins. They can multiply their coin winnings by stopping an arrow on an X2 to X5 multiplier gauge. They can also win coins by opening a piggy bank and playing a spin wheel on the home screen, accepting a progression reward gift box, and collecting keys to open treasure chests.
If the player makes a mistake, they can use the back arrow undo button to the upper right of the top-center horizontal star progress bar. If they need to add an extra test tube, they can use the add button to the upper left of the bar. The game also allows them to view a hint with the magnifier button in the upper-right corner or skip a level entirely with the arrows button in the upper-left corner below the home button.
Color Water Sort 3D allows the player to customize their experience with their coin winnings. They can use the coins to unlock random new test tube shapes, backgrounds and stoppers.
