Color Sort Puzzle is a sorting game. Across levels in timed or untimed play, the player sorts colored fluids into test tube flasks. Their goals are to sort all fluids so that each flask contains one color of fluid and earn points next to red hearts at the top-center of the screen. They might also earn more points with a multiplier and access to helpful special tools by viewing ad videos.
In the timed mode, the player attempts to sort and fill as many flasks as possible across levels within an allotted one-minute time while earning extra time by playing quickly. They lose the game when they can no longer earn enough time to complete a level. In the levels mode, they sort the bands of colored liquids at their own pace.�
Color Sort Puzzle provides several tools to help the player. They can undo their moves up to five times with a back arrow at the bottom center of the screen. They can add extra flasks to the playfield. They can also skip a level with a right-arrow button. If they run out of these opportunities, they can spend 500 heart points or view ad videos to receive more.�
The game also allows them to use their heart points to upgrade the flasks to different sizes and styles of containers and change the background theme. The game begins with a nighttime sky in the background. The player can upgrade it, for example, to a bright blue daytime one that contains clouds.
