Coffee Sort Puzzle is a beverage sorting game. It features play similar to hardware and parking lot sorting games. In a backroom coffee shop setting, the player must sort, box and serve different types of beverages.
Cups filled with beverages move on a conveyor belt toward the boxing area. Common drink flavors include coffee, cherry, grape, mint and orange. The player directs up to four color-matched carriers at a time to move to spaces below the equipment. This action prompts the game to transfer the drinks to the carriers and then box and serve the products. If the player is willing to view advertisements, they can open three additional spaces and work faster. When they complete a level, they receive coin wages.
Coffee Sort Puzzle complicates the boxing process in several ways. For example, it layers the drink holders in a pile, which forces the player to any unblock color-matched ones they need for specific drinks. Additionally, it sometimes adds new carriers to the pile from numbered storage areas.
The game attempts to help the player by displaying a sign above the three locked spaces that states the number of cups left to box and serve in a level. It also supplies the player with three helpful tools when they reach levels 5, 10 and 15. For example, the first tool allows them to unlock additional spaces up to three times. Once they use up this access, they must purchase continued access with their coins or ad views.
