Cladmen 2D Idle is an incremental click-tap and crafting game. The player works as a miner breaking rocks with pickaxes in search of gold, copper and other ores they can turn into high-priced pure bars. Their goals are to earn enough from their manual labor to grow and expand the operation until they have a modern mine with automated systems that generate passive revenues.
The player starts out by manually breaking rocks with a basic pickaxe on a small above-ground plot of land during 15-second sessions. They can generate multiple axes by hovering a target circle cursor above several rocks at the same time.
The game supplies normal rocks, chunk rocks and full material or mineral rocks that spawn one, three and seven ores, respectively. Automatic crafting turns three ores into bars. If one or more extra ores exist at the end of a session, the player receives a bonus bar. They also receive XP points and level-up tickets.
Cladmen 2D Idle features an upgrade tree, skill cards and ancient artifacts. The player buys upgrades, such as increasing the session time and widening the mining area. They use talent points from level-up tickets to access skill cards. After they dig up ancient artifacts, they receive passive powers that perform different tasks, such as doubling the value of ore and increasing the rock-breaking speed.
Eventually, the player purchases the land and an auto-mining system. That said, they can continue to mine manually as well. They can also craft stronger pickaxes with new materials and better associated skills.
