Car Parking 3D is a free-roaming, parking game that challenges a player to find parking spaces across 44 levels of three-dimensional environments without a map or minimap to guide them.
The first level is set on a dock near the ocean. The player must successfully navigate a car around barriers, cranes and shipping containers. Although they're near the ocean, the docks have fences that prevent the player from driving off into it.
Car Parking 3D offers realistic graphics. The player can drift with the car and leave behind skid marks. They can change the camera perspective to several options, including a no-vehicle front view, driver's perspective, top-front view facing the car, a driver's side view angled slightly from the back and an overhead view. From the driver's perspective, for example, the player can actually watch the driver's arms steer the vehicle based on their input from the controls.
The game features a five-minute timer. If the player fails to park before time runs out, they're bumped back to the home screen after earning a certain number of points. They also earn coins that they later use to upgrade the vehicle's engine, brake and speed and unlock and upgrade the side mirrors and spoilers. They can even use coins to swap cars. They can customize the neon lighting and paint job for free.
