Candy Sweet is a match-3 puzzle game set in a fantasy world where outdoor environments are made of candy and dessert items. A bear, girl and a cat on a road trip need the player's help collecting sweet treats across hundreds of stages that contain thousands of levels.
On each level, the player must rearrange blue, green, purple, red and yellow hard candies and other items with a limited number of moves to collect targets listed in a goals area at the top of the screen. In the same area, they can track their progress collecting three stars that they must attempt to earn per level as well.
Candy Sweet follows match-3 rules. The player can collect any items shown in the goals area by either completing lines or using special items and boosters. They make special items by aligning more than three matching basic ones. They can create line and cross blasts that take out columns and rows and rainbow-colored candies that remove one type of candy. If they combine two special items, they can clear an entire board.
The boosters are located below the main play area. These tools include a hammer to remove one item, rockets that remove columns and rows, a bomb to remove items in a blast area, and a magic wand to shuffle all items into new positions. Boosters help the player overcome some obstacles, such as chocolate jail bars and icing-coated crackers.
The game has a spin wheel on the home screen for rewards. The player receives one free spin and then uses coin winnings to buy additional access. They can also collect coins and boosters by opening daily rewards and ad-supported gift boxes.
