Bubble Shooter: Shoot and Burst! is a relaxing version of the fun, classic Bubble Shooter bubble-popping game. In front of a lake under a full moon, the player tries to clear a playfield of hanging mixed-color bubbles with a shooter and bubble projectiles.
The player receives a primary projectile and a pointed purple targeting beam. They also receive a non-swappable secondary projectile positioned to the left of the shooter. When they use these tools to create clusters of three or more color-matched bubbles, all the connected bubbles burst. Any bubbles directly connected to only the cluster fall away.
Bubble Shooter: Shoot and Burst! doesn't have any boosters or other special bubble-popping tools. That said, it does provide the player with some help. To the left of the secondary projectile, it offers four silver penalty-pass bubbles. With each pass, the player can fail to make a hit that bursts bubbles.
When the player runs out of passes, the game positions another row of mixed-color bubbles on the field from the top. It then refreshes the penalty-pass area with three passes. After each penalty, the player loses a pass until they cycle through all the silver bubbles. The game then helps again by providing four fresh passes and repeating the cycle.
