Bubble Shooter Relax is a positivity-themed bubble-popping game that features soothing background colors in gradient shades of pink, purple and blue and bubbles designed with relaxing icons like red hearts and green four-left clovers. The player's goal is to earn the highest score possible by popping clusters of hanging bubbles.
The player uses a cannon shooter shaped like an arrow with a pointed targeting tip to fire projectile bubbles at two or more matching ones. Every cluster they create explodes gently and transforms into wisps of smoke that then fade from the screen.
Bubble Shooter Relax complicates gameplay by making some bubbles bounce like balls off nearby non-matching ones. The bounces can cause a bubble projectile's trajectory to change at the last moment. As a result, a projectile might stick to a non-matching bubble or stop anywhere on the background without sticking to any bubbles at all. Some bubbles feature a meteor-style tail, and drop to the bottom of the screen.
The game also features a penalty line above the cannon. That said, it doesn't show the line to the player until bubbles sliding down the screen slide into it. When this happens, the player must start over and try to beat their last best score.
