Bubble Shooter Pop It Now, a fairy-and-magic-themed shooter, is a fun match-3, bubble-popping game. As with other versions of classic Bubble Shooter, the player shoots a colored projectile at two or more connected, matching bubbles on rows at the top of the playfield to remove them from the field. When the bubbles drop to the bottom of the field, they pop and award points to the player.
Unlike similar games, Bubble Shooter Pop It Now allows the player to pick a main character who, along with a pet, motivates and guides them. Instead of an arrow-based, crossbow or cannon shooter with one projectile bubble, the game features a silver ring with two bubbles so that the player can switch between projectiles to choose the one that best matches available bubbles. The player can also shoot a projectile above the top of the playfield if there's a gap, which then sometimes leads to the removal of a lot of hidden bubbles.
Although new rows appear every few seconds at the top of the playfield, which push the preexisting rows further down the screen, the player can use boosters to help them clear the field faster. They receive access to a Freeze Field Booster that prevents the bubbles from dropping, a Magic Bubble Booster that changes the projectile color and a Bomb Bubble Booster that destroys the bubbles it touches.
