Bubble Shooter Hexagon is a timed bubble shooter with a prehistoric theme. Near a twilight lake in a valley formed by high cliffs, amongst steep rock walls and a smattering of fir and other trees, the player uses an arrow shooter formed with a piece of wire to shoot hexagon-shaped, patterned projectiles at rows of bubbles. Their goal is to form clusters of three or more of the same type. In 48 levels, they attempt to earn the highest score before time runs out on the clock or the bubbles slide to the bottom.
The glossy hexagon bubbles don't immediately pop. Instead, when the player creates a cluster, all the matching bubbles decrease in size, break apart to become smaller ones, and then disappear. They can shoot directly at the rows or use difficult-to-see side walls for angled shots. Additionally, they can remove non-matching bubbles by creating a cluster connected to the non-matching ones. This avalanche maneuver removes multiple matching and non-matching hexagon bubbles in one shot.
Bubble Shooter Hexagon rewards the player with standard and time bonus points. With the time bonus, they receive 10 points for every second left at the end of a level. For example, with 14 seconds remaining, they receive 140 points. That said, if they fail to clear the level in time, they must view an ad video to continue or start over entirely.
