Bubble Shooter Free 2 is a colorful, endless bubble-shooting game that offers a player a free opportunity to shoot at bubbles to their heart's content. It displays the bubbles in a vibrant mix of colors across 10 stacked rows at the top of a dark blue playfield. The player must remove as many bubbles as possible to earn the highest score before the rows slide down the white line near the bottom of the field.
The player shoots the bubbles with a shooter at the bottom center of the field. The projectile must hit two or more connected matching bubbles to make the bubbles fall from the rows. The shooter isn't a common arrow, cannon or ring shooter. Instead, the main projectile rests below the 250-point spot and features a dotted targeting line that matches the color of the main projectile at any given time. The shooter contains two projectiles at all times. The player can swap projectiles to perform match-3 moves faster. That said, the swap button only provides three free swaps. If the player wants additional swaps, they must watch advertisements.
Bubble Shooter Free 2 distributes points based on where the bubbles drop below the white bar. The area is broken into sections (50 | 100 | 250 | 100 | 50). The player tracks their points next to a golden trophy icon at the bottom-right corner.
The game also features boosters. Every time the player shoots bubbles successfully, a curved bar below the shooter fills up partially with energy. When this bar fills, the player can shoot a booster that takes out more than color-matched bubbles.
