Bubble Shooter Cosmic is an endless bubble-popping game with a cosmos skyscape theme. Against a dark background filled with space objects, the player shoots bubbles with matching bubble projectiles from a merged arrow-cannon shooter. Their goal is to pop clusters of three or more with each shot and achieve the highest score.
The game makes winning difficult. The bubbles act like balls and often bounce left, right and diagonally off bubbles near targeted bubbles. Each one is also almost black, with only a hint of color curving along the bottom. The game features a traditional point-of-no-return line near the cannon, but it's mostly hidden, except for pink vertical bars on the side walls. If any hanging bubbles touch this line, the player loses the game.
When the player pops a cluster, the bubbles dissipate into wispy swirls of smoke. The game provides no aiming or targeting line or dots to help. All popped clusters earn the player points in the lower-right score area.
Bubble Shooter Cosmic also has odd avalanche outcomes. Bubbles underneath a cluster sometimes drop like meteorites to the bottom of the screen. That said, one or more bubbles sometimes linger in the sky unattached to anything. A projectile sometimes acts the same. It might bounce off a non-matching bubble and become stuck anywhere.
