Bubble Shooter 247 is another version of the ever-popular Bubble Shooter 247 game. As with all classic-style bubble-popping games, the player uses a purple arrow shooter and projectiles to form and pop chains and clusters of two or more identical bubbles. They also attempt to receive enough high points as a reward from level to level and in total to rank monthly on a leaderboard.
The player receives the most points when they pop extremely large chains and clusters and non-matching bubbles connected to the popped matching ones. Although the latter is typically referred to as an "avalanche," the bubbles pop in place on the board instead of falling to the bottom of the screen.
The game gives the player five passes for making mistakes when shooting at groups of connected bubbles. It represents these passes as silver bubbles in the lower-left area. When the player runs out of these passes, one or more new rows of bubbles drop onto the board. The game bases the number of penalty rows on the number of colors still in play.
The Bubble Shooter 247 games are well known for providing almost peaceful and satisfying popping noises that vary based in part on the player's selections in the Setup area. The player can generate bubble wrap, blast and Pop-It game sounds. Additionally, they can change the size of the bubble explosions and the colors of the board and bubbles.
